CDI Program Philosophy
The curriculum model at the Institute was founded upon the principles that children need an environment which allows them to play freely as well as learn the basic skills necessary for later school success. The Institute's curriculum reflects proven educational principles about how children learn and develop. Research has shown that much of a child's development takes place between conception and four years of age, thus lending support to the likelihood that enriching early school experiences will enhance a child's intellectual development. The curriculum further attempts to develop and implement a comprehensive program that will maximize the intellectual, physical, emotional and social development of the center's children.
The program has also been structured to identify the interests, capabilities, talents and developmental levels of the children in order to better accommodate the individual differences of each child. Our center programs are designed to provide the children in our care with a new learning experience every day.
